Formerly housed in the now closed Asian greenhouse, currently housed in the Australian waterfront aviary, even though the closest this species' range comes to Oceania is the Bird Head Peninsula of New Guinea and the Aru Islands. Other Ducula species occur in Oceania, including Australia.
