The zoo hospital (The Nest) has viewing windows for the public, and often contains injured wild birds (seabirds, NZ Pigeons, Tui, Moreporks, etc). This Pied Shag, in the enclosure containing the saltwater pool, handily positioned itself directly in front of the information whiteboard.
