Originally this was the penguin exhibit, until the penguins moved to Playa Penguinos on the present-day location of Wildlands's hippo exhibit. After PP closed the penguins temporarily moved back to this exhibit, to which a pinched-off part of the Wild West exhibit was added as a nesting zone.
