Lion signage in the Gir Forest Railway Trail in the Asia Area in Planckendael. This is one of the best signs in the park illustrating when the lions died out in various areas and countries in the Middle-East and Asia.
The Asia theme in Planckendael is the newest theme currently being developed. The first major part (Gir Forest and Tropical House) was opened in 2006 while the next major part (elephants) will open in 2012.
