Planckendael - Asian Tropical House (Mammal exhibits)

The two exhibits for prevost’s squirrels (Callosciurus prevostii) and belanger's tree-shrews (Tupaia belangeri) by the entrance to the temple ruin inside the Tropical House in the Asia Area in Planckendael. Inside the ruin is also a nocturnal exhibit for pygmy slow loris (Nycticebus pygmaeus).

The Asia theme in Planckendael is the newest theme currently being developed. The first major part (Gir Forest and Tropical House) was opened in 2006 while the next major part (elephants) will open in 2012.
