A view inside the Trade Station in the Oceania Area in Planckendael. The building functions as a small terrarium and the sign above the door says: Aussies Outback More than just kangaroos. In here you can see species such as frilled lizard (Chlamydosaurus kingii), bearded dragon (Pogona vitticeps), eastern blue-tongued skink (Tiliqua scincoides scincoides) and childrens python (Antaresia childreni) as well as a few tree frogs and arthropods.
The Oceania theme in Planckendael opened in 1998 and is one of the most extensive in Europe featuring wildlife from Australia and New Guinea. To the left you can see the Koala House.
