@Hix Thanks! Obi Obi Boardwalk in Maleny, Sunshine Coast which is right in the centre of town. The site has a dedicated observation viewing deck for platypus and sightings are very regular and reliable. It's ten minutes from Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve as an added bonus.
