June 29 2013 Hopefully this animal can become part of some kind of breeding-programm !

The only location with adults is Ojai in California but it is worth a try and would give the European programme also a source of future additions to their own captive assurance stocks.

Where in Ojai? I had no idea there was a place here in California where I could see them!

Behler Chelonian Center. The Turtle Conservancy do a lot of good for lots of turtles and tortoises.
