Astrochelys yniphora. I am very pleased that these highly endangered tortoise have been put on display, although as yet they are not showing themselves very well. Photographs of this species do not really show how unusually-shaped their shells are. From above they look nearly circular, but the front and sides of the shells are almost vertical, producing a very high dome to the shell.
