Plumed Whistling Duck (Dendrocygna eytoni)

March 2021, at Anderson Park in Napier
In 2011 a trio of Plumed Whistling Ducks arrived at Anderson Park in Napier as vagrants from Australia, and they decided to just stay put. Two of the birds have since died but this last one is still going strong at over ten years old.
