Polar Bear Enclosure Construction at Yorkshire WP, 21/06/14

Does anyone know how large this exhibit will be? Is it going to be constructed directly on the hillside? Where will the bear(s) be sourced from?

The hill you see here is the outside of the exhibit complex - there are four enclosures being built behind this (at least one is apparently complete). There's an artist's impression here: Yorkshire Wildlife Park Foundation

The total size is meant to be 10 acres (a typically understated YWP exhibit! ).

Despite much hype about trying to 'rescue' a bear from Mexico alongside this, it will almost certainly be EEP animals that come - most likely spare males (they're not planning to breed here for now).
