More and more European zoos are going down this route for Polar Bears. Massive lakes in an enclosed slice of forest, which looks more like a traditional Brown Bear exhibit than anything else. The only flaw with all these progressive enclosures is that there is no underwater viewing, but that's a minor complaint.
