In this exhibit's defense, what the yard lacks in space, it more than makes up for in spatial complexity and superb underwater viewing. Plus, apparently the zoo was going to phase out their brown bears and expand the polar bear space into the brown bear habitat, but it appears that those plans have been tabled, at least for now.
