Is this still one of North America's best polar bear exhibits? My all-time favourite is the Arctic Ring of Life complex at Detroit Zoo, but San Diego still has a terrific habitat for its bears. Toronto, Brookfield, Louisville, Kansas City and Columbus have all opened new polar bear exhibits in the past couple of years and of those it appears that Columbus has perhaps the best in terms of both space for the animals and overall visitor experience.
