@TinoPup Anchorage got three large snowfalls the week before Christmas and persistent below freezing temperatures since. I believe slightly more than half the snowfall accumulation of what a typical winter sees.
@Pleistohorse I've been to Toronto a few times during winter but that was over a decade ago now, and I flew there so I was never quite prepared, shoe-wise My first visit to Pittsburgh was after a big snow storm but they don't really have the animals for winter like Alaska does.
