There are several species of Anisotremus, but most other members of the genus are called 'grunts' or 'sargos' in English, and look very different. There is one other species somewhat similar to the one in your photo - the Panama Porkfish (A. taeniatus) which is found on the Pacific coast of Central America - but it's still fairly easy to distinguish from Anisotremus virginicus.
