Possible Eastern Rockhopper Penguin

Could be, but I wouldn't say anything firmer than that based on that photo. I have seen photos on Google from Fort Worth which look very much like filholi though.
 
@Chlidonias Personally I'd like to also see some information about where the individuals came from. The taxa seems to live on and around island chains that US zoos generally don't/can't import from so I'm interested to know *how* they got here.

Its not. To my knowledge all of Fort Worth's birds come from Seaworld, so its just a Southern. Probably a younger bird, hence the nice beak and smaller yellow tufts.
 
The bird pictured in the link is a macaroni penguin, so I don't really see where the correlation is coming from?....
