Funny you made a photo of this enclosure because the species kept in this enclosure was discribed scientificly LAST WEEK !!!!!
The Glass Catfish avaible in the ornamental fish-trade ( and I guess PPG Aquarium got their Glass Catfish as well from there ) have been mis-identified the last 80 years as Kryptopterus bicirrhis and Kryptopterus minor. Research however proofed that the Glass catfishes kept in captivity are not belonging to one of these species and discribed it as a new species - Kryptopterus vitreolus - just last week in the online-publication Zootaxa !!
