I have fond memories of visiting the Birmingham Zoo 3-4 times about 9 years ago, when I lived in nearby Tennessee. It has a nice animal collection and pleasing exhibits. Although not as good as the celebrated Memphis Zoo, I liked it better than the Knoxville Zoo.
