Pseudopimelodus mangurus (Old photo, 2018)

Snout & barbels of a humbug catfish (Platydoras armatulus) can be seen at the bottom-right of the shot too.

Besides P. armatulus, P. mangurus were maintained alongside redtail 'barracudas' (Acestrorhynchus falcatus), tiger knifefish (Gymnotus tigre), and granulated catfish (Pterodoras granulosus) too.

Hope this micro-predator concept makes a comeback in the foreseeable future.
