Do you have any idea where these pumas hail from? They've always looked very small and slender to me- especially compared to those huge Canadian and northern US individuals, so I'm guessing they must be either Mexican or from Central or South America...
I would suppose that the pumas in mexican zoos are mostly from Mexico. Guadalajara zoo has a nice open air moated exhibit. The only other similar open air moated exhibit for pumas in this country is the one at Xcaret. I remember reading here on zoochat that several US zoos have moated pumas but not many.
