No idea exactly how many young as they kept appearing and disappearing, but there were multiple pups and they were very much one of the highlights or Dierenrijk.
Also, while we were watching them a keeper was working in the exhibit and decided to take a pause leaning against a small tree... which promptly snapped at the base sending him flying into an accidental Norman Wisdom impression, much to our (and indeed his own) amusement. It was a very entertaining exhibit!
