Located in Denver, Colorado, this beautiful indoor facility features aquarium exhibits from around the world, as well as a habitat for Sumatran Tigers. There is also a Downtown Aquarium in Houston, Texas, owned by the same company.

There appears to be a tremendous amount of immersive "theming" in this aquarium, complete with an underwater tunnel, sunken ruins and Sumatran tigers! Other than the fairly controversial tiger exhibit (many ZooChatters are against it) what is the rest of the aquarium like? There are barely any photos of it on this site yet I plan to visit in August as I hope to already be in town to tour the exciting "Toyota Elephant Passage" at Denver Zoo.
It is certainly an aquarium of theming, with Rocky Mountain and Rainforest and Sunken Ship themes as well as a more modern abstract underwater theme...be sure to spend time at the large tank inside the attached restaurant. Unfortunately many of my pictures were wiped out in the infamous purge! Anyway, do not miss this aquarium!
