Her name is Dasha (pet name for Darya).
She was sold by 'famous' Durov's Animal Theater (stationary circus in Moscow) to our zoo in 2007 (a sponsor helped of course!), being useless after crushing her trainer in 2001.
Dasha is human-imprinted from 8 months of age, so never got along well with conspecifics...
And the other elephant of the same trainer was sold to Erevan zoo in THIS condition, of course she didn't live long after the transfer... click to enlarge
