A baby aardvark just 2 weeks old in Randers Tropical Zoo, Denmark. The mother is Maxima from Burgers Zoo and this baby is the first aardvark ever born in Scandinavia.

What a terrific opportunity for you to see such a young aardvark.

You bet ;) Aardvarks became my favourite animal after I first saw Maxima in Randers back in 2002. When this little one was born, I raced to Randers immediatly to see him while he was still just a baby :)

This is one of the pair now at Blackpool Zoo. Do you know the birth date and possibly the father's name?

That is an adorable baby aardvark, I would like to get an oppurtunity to see one that young in real life
