The opening to the aquarium part inside the Asia Dome in Randers Tropical Zoo, Denmark. This aquarium houses various tropical fish and reptiles, mainly Asian but with a few others mixed in there as well. Some of the species here are Chinese water dragon, spiny skink, common snake-necked turtle, Fly River turtle, three spot gourami, combtail gourami, rosy barb and bumblebee goby, just to name some.
The Asia Dome is 700 sqm in size and 14 meters tall. It opened along with the zoo in 1996, the gibbon/otter exhibit was added in 2001 and the whole dome was remodeled with a partial model of an Angkor Wat temple ruin in 2010.
