Part of the exhibit for pileated gibbons and oriental small-clawed otters inside the Asia Dome in Randers Tropical Zoo, Denmark. The gibbons and otters have shared this well-designed exhibit since it opened in 2001 and both species are regular breeders in here. It is really hard to get a good picture that really shows this exhibit as it is.
The Asia Dome is 700 sqm in size and 14 meters tall. It opened along with the zoo in 1996, the gibbon/otter exhibit was added in 2001 and the whole dome was remodeled with a partial model of an Angkor Wat temple ruin in 2010.
