The first five (mammal) species in the nocturnal section of the Clore are all now rats (in name at least!) - Brown, Panay Cloud, Giant Jumping, Australian Water and Naked Mole. I actually quite like it - it feels like an old-school taxonomic animal house!
These are the exhibits for the cloud and jumping rats. All five species were visible, though the cloud rats took a bit of effort!
