More precisely speaking, the exhibit housed red-cheeked gibbons during my visit, as the animals here switch their enclosures regularly. The 2017 complex is the first of a series of high-profile projects of the zoo, which quickly transform a mediocre zoo into one of the best in this country. The species list includes Assam macaque, northern pig-tailed macaque, Francois' langur, golden snub-nosed monkey, lar gibbon, red-cheeked gibbon, northern white-cheeked gibbon, eastern hoolock gibbon and orangutan.
