Very nice to see this species on show at last although photography is difficult as I found almost impossible to filter out the wire fence; this was my best attempt.
This animal was sharing the outdoor enclosure with the male okapi; almost everybody who passed the exhibit insisted that the red forest duiker was a baby okapi!

I overheard one family, after reading the sign explaining the introduction of the male and female okapi, seriously considering that the duiker was the male okapi!
