I am on the contrary quite pleased the exhibit is a good size.
Read the visitor survey recently on Alaskan zoos / aquaria. Surprised that people equate space with … perhaps boring? Feel this zoo is being done an injustice, I quite like it and it does have good educational signs as well.
I agree KB. My comment in the title was meant to be complimentary. The Alaska Zoos exhibits don't always lend themselves well to photography, but (aside from a couple of the bird exhibits) are generally spacious and well cared for. The Zoo has excellent educational programs. This fox exhibit once held a pair of Wolverines, which are not currently kept at the Zoo. The Education Director did tell me that the Zoo has a request in with the United States Fish & Wildlife and Alaska Department of Fish & Game to receive a Wolverine if one becomes available from one of those agencies.
