Opened in 2022, the "Gaoligong" complex is among the latest additions to the zoo, featuring red panda, eastern hoolock gibbon (as stand-in for skywalker hoolock gibbon), Reeve’s muntjac (as stand-in for red muntjac), silver pheasant and Burmese python. It is the first zoo exhibit dedicated to Gaoligong Mountains as I know of, though the species list seems underwhelming for an ecoregion known for its outstanding richness of wildlife.
