I have seen a Hog jump up a barrier 4 feet tall. I gather the hotwire is enough of a deterrent.
 
This is the largest group of Red River Hogs in the Uk- I think they have 10 now. The enclosure looks like part of a Children's 'farm', so was probably converted for the Hogs, as you can see it has woodchip floor and a shelter. The only time I visited there, there was a day old piglet which had escaped through the fence, after they recaptured it they were putting small mesh netting around the whole enclosure.
