Rather a unique function space, with a huge number of species in the tank (with Black-tipped Reef Sharks the largest).

I can imagine the "wow" factor when there is a speaker and the curtains are drawn back to reveal a beautiful aquarium tank...assuming that some folks wouldn't know what was behind the magic curtain.:) The Bronx Zoo has a short film presentation before unveiling their superb gorilla habitats and it works wonders with a large audience.

It's odd, this tank. There's no other viewing - this is it - but there appears to be free access whenever the room is not being used forone of the daily talks in here or a special event. But you can't get up close to the tank and most people didn't even walk down a few steps to get a little closer, just entered then left, so it's a bit of a non-event. Shame as it's a lovely tank.

In occasions (not frequently) you can go upstairs up and access very close to the 'window'.But rarely I had that opportunity. And anyway the available light cannot take pictures.
