@Daubentoniidae I have no idea - I've never seen anything like this! I can only think of a few places where I've seen rhinoceroses (always White Rhinoceros) in the same space as Giraffes. I haven't paid attention to how much the two species interact. Hopefully someone on this forum will notice the conversation and reply.
All the rhinos and giraffes currently at Colchester are female I believe, and since they're in the same enclosure all the time (they rotate in the indoor quarters occasionally) maybe they're just used to each other. Still very cool behaviour to witness.
