Great viewing idea, I think this enclosure looks great too. Is their entire reptile house like this, or are the reptiles scattered around various other buildings?
 
The reptiles are scattered around - one of the design aspects of Colchester that does work well.
 
It does look good, these iguanas seem to have masses of space. Bet it's a nightmare to heat though.
 
I like the idea of the exhibit but how many members of the public are going to walk in there to see a sleeping iguana, seems a waste to me!

Actually, they are quite active compared to the green Iguanas in the Iguana forest. Also people have to come in this area if they want to get to the walkthrough tamarin exhibit. Also held in this area, 'World's Apart', are Green Anacondas, Green and Black Dart Frogs, Yellow Anacondas as well as there being an Indo-Pacific Marine tank.:rolleyes:
 
Tigerlemurguy, reptiles are like dinosaurs, so even if there asleep normals (yes normals, we Zoochatters are far superiour;)) they are interested
