The indoor quarters for four greater flamingos and one Caribbean flamingo. The tiny amount of birds left, the fact that the outdoor exhibit was being drained, and the fact that the flamingos are the only birds left in the entire zoo that are still pinioned, leads me to think that Riga wants to phase out flamingos or at least build an aviary for a new group.
Well, I haven't seen all that many avant-garde bathrooms in my life, so I can't say for sure... But I'm afraid that flamingos, despite their many fine qualities, haven't really learned to appreciate the intricacies of avant-garde art.
