Riga Zoo - Peafowl/stork aviary

Housing Indian peafowl, white storks, and black storks.

The zoo has plenty of free-ranging peafowl, so I'm not sure why some of them have to live in an aviary.

For equally unknown reasons, both stork species were isolated in the small side-aviaries on the left. As was all of the zoo's peahens (I only saw peacocks free-ranging and living in the big aviary).

May 2018.
