In the top picture the pens on the left were for various Bears and Wolves, the path in the middle and to the right formed a loop. The path on the right went down a steep hill leading to the Lower Duck Ponds, Island House, and the lower Mouflon pen viewing area.

The lower picture would have been taken from the Donnybrook Tower facing North, toward the Polar Bear pen in mid frame and the first large red roofed building was the Bird House
