Rocky Mountain goat (Oreamnos americanus), 2019-04-06

I didn't see mountain goats last year, so it must be a recent addition the collection.

@AWP They received a pair from Tierpark Berlin in mid-November of 2018.

Was the paddock that now holds these animals still empty or under construction at the time of your visit (it seems to be a pretty recent addition) or did it house another species?

At which location are the mountain goats kept? There were a couple of construction sites in the summer of 2018.

@AWP Behind the South American exhibit, next to the Bactrian camels and near the peccaries.

Looking at the map of last year, I think the current mountain goat enclosure is a split-off from the large camel enclosure.
