Jana 1 Aug 2009 An wolk-through aviary with roe deer (Capreolus capreolus), zoo Ohrada at Hluboka nad Vltavou, 2008.
Jana 20 Sep 2009 Accually, they built one big aviary (+10.000 feet long) and it´s divided into 4 separared sections. The first has a mix of common (mostly) european species of ducks, geese and swans, plus hendicaped white storks. The second (small) is only for roe deer. This pen existed before the aviary has been built. The third section has four pelicans, two white herons, some cormorants and ducks. The last section contains one spur-winged goose and a flock of Greater flamingos (over 100).

P P PAT 21 Sep 2009 Thanks for that...It always suprises me when I see antelope and deer in aviaries but then I think why not if it's big enough. And thanks evilkittie, I was trying to work out if they were pelicans or people but now that I look at it they are clearly pelicans.
