This tank is located in the hallway between the main exhibition hall and the tropical hall and houses the following species of African cichlids:
- Red empress
- Venustus hap
- Elongate mbuna
- Kardango red fin
- Sulphur-headed hap
- Zebra mbuno
As well as one species of catfish:
- Cuckoo catfish
