The Galapagos indoor exhibit in the Oceanium in the American theme in Rotterdam Zoo. In tropical house lives galapagos giant tortoises. They also have access to an outdoor exhibit.

This looks like a nice indoor habitat for the tortoises, and is that sand on one side of the enclosure?

I don't remember if it is sand but it is some sort of soft substrate. And yes, it is a fine exhibit:)
