Roulroul partridges male and chick

I had never seen a chick before, I had assumed it was normal to hand rear them. Both parents were finding food for the little chap, who was very active and had enough wing feathering to flutter for extra speed when running.
I cropped the female off the right hand side of the photo as she was blurred by motion (they just wouldn't pose quietly side by side).
