Yeah, they are very unique indeed. Too bad you don't get to see them very often outside Australia. At the same time, I assume the Australian public must find it a pity their zoos exhibit mostly native fauna. For us of course, it's a real treat!

Eurasian, African and Roseate are all pretty straightforward to find in European zoos. Wild Eurasians are about in the UK, but I've never yet managed to see them. Black-faced I've only seen once; on a behind-the-scenes tour at Walsrode in 2007.
The other two will probably have to wait 'til I can make it Down Under (which I'm determined to do at some point!).
