Sable Antelope and Turkus the Cheetah face-to-face at Marwell Zoo, 8 March

As soon as Turkus spotted the antelopes in the paddock, he started stalking them along the fenceline. The antelopes were startled the first time they spotted him and ran as far across the paddock as they could, but then they came back for a closer look through the safety of the fence!

As soon as the cheetah spotted the antelopes in the paddock, (s)he started stalking them along the fenceline. The antelopes were startled the first time they spotted the cheetah and ran as far across the paddock as they could, but then they came back for a closer look through the safety of the fence!
 
Zambar
The dama gazelle used to interact with the cheetah, though strangely they appeared to greet one another!
