Safari - Leopard Exhibit

August 15, 2024
@BetoYoung It seems that almost all the Leopards in Southeast Asia are the Javan subspecies, but I do recall seeing one or two African Leopards as well. What's interesting is seeing the Taman Safari parks with open-topped exhibits for Leopards. That's a surprise!

The stone or cement walls look like a leopard can jump them. Are there anymore barriers apart from them and what looks like a low hotwired fence?

@Rohin The cement walls are deeper than they look, but it's still surprising that several Indonesian zoos have open-topped Leopard exhibits. There aren't any other barriers. Some of these zoos are surrounded by jungle and I wouldn't be shocked if wild Leopards went into the zoo at night.
