Salamander ID, Monteverde, Costa Rica

My first guess was Ambystoma rivulare, but I think you are in the wrong place for the species. Possibly a different species in Ambystoma but I concur with @ralph, iNaturalist is very helpful.

I don't think this is an Ambystoma personally. I don't see that this was uploaded to iNat, but other observations from Monteverde report three species: Oedipina uniformis, Bolitoglossa subpalmata, and Nototriton gamezi. Out of these three, I would guess it is B. subpalmata based largely on the apparent eye color and the size of the foot that's visible. Of course, it is still possible this is an entirely different species from these three. I still highly recommend uploading and hope for an expert opinion!
