I would love to see wombats at the LA zoo. Do you know if they mix well with other marsupials?

I'm trying to remember all of the wombat exhibits that I saw as I went around 14 Australian zoos and wildlife parks...and I cannot recall if wombats were ever displayed in a mixed-species exhibit. To be perfectly honest they aren't the best zoo specimen as they are rarely ever awake.

Where is the wombat exhibit located....last time I was there they were in the children's zoo

There were 2 wombats in this enclosure, and it was right next to the tree kangaroo exhibit.

Cool, those enclosures housed the Tassie Devils when i visited.

What is now in the wombat exhibit in the Children's Zoo?

There was still a wombat in the Children's zoo, but only the one in contrast to the two in the exhibit in this photograph.

Ahh they've seperated out the adult daughter from the pair then most likely.
