I think that three lizards in one frame may be an all-comers record. I have never seen more activity from this native species.

I've only seen one at Chester basking on the warm wood ledge at the front of the enclosure. They seem notoriously difficult to see in zoo vivaria generally.
I saw a couple of males in the wild in Dorset last year-the first time for nearly fifty years probably. The whole East Dorset/Bournemouth/Ringwood area is a hot spot for them with many 'foci'(localised colonies) as herpetologists call them.
